Fuel Productivity Highlights from the Transportation Authority
On March 13, 2025, the Oil Products Distribution Company announced significant fuel productivity statistics achieved by its transportation division through a fleet of 1,192 trucks and tankers across various governorates.
According to the company, the total productive output for January reached approximately 97.5 million cubic meters per kilometer (m3/km). This metric represents the volume of fuel delivered via company-operated trucks, which efficiently distribute fuel to numerous outlets in Baghdad and other regions.

Hussein Talib Abboud, the General Manager of the Oil Products Distribution Company, provided insight into the operational performance.
Milad Rashid, the Director of the Transportation Authority, elaborated on the logistics achievements, reporting that the transportation unit executed around 382 daily shifts for various oil derivatives, including gas. He noted that the total quantities of fuel distributed to all company branches averaged about 982,692 cubic meters per day. Rashid emphasized the authority’s commitment to enhancing the distribution of oil products across all governorates to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
