Dollar Exchange Rate Declines Against the Dinar in Baghdad and Erbil

On Saturday afternoon, the value of the U.S. dollar experienced a decline against the Iraqi dinar across markets in Baghdad and Erbil, coinciding with the closure of the central exchange.

According to reports, the exchange rate at the Al-Harithiya exchange and surrounding areas fell to 150,150 dinars for 100 dollars, compared to a previous rate of 150,300 dinars for the same amount earlier in the day.

Local banking outlets in Baghdad also reflected this downward trend, with the selling price for the dollar dropping to 151,000 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price stabilized at 149,000 dinars for the same quantity.

In Erbil, the dollar showed a similar decrease in value, with a selling price recorded at 150,100 dinars for each 100 dollars, and a buying rate of 150,000 dinars for the same amount.
