US Dollar Exchange Rates Decline in Iraq

On Saturday morning, the exchange rates for the US dollar experienced a decline in the markets of Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, as well as in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

According to reports from local observers, dollar prices fell on the struggle and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges in Baghdad, dropping to 14,950 dinars for every 100 dollars. This represents a reduction from the rates recorded at the conclusion of last week, where the dollar was traded at 150,050 dinars for every 100 dollars.

The selling prices in banking institutions throughout the local markets in Baghdad remained stable. The sale price stood at 151,000 dinars for every 100 dollars, while the purchase price was noted at 149,000 dinars for every 100 dollars.

In Erbil, the downward trend in the dollar’s value continued, with the sale price quoted at 149,900 dinars per 100 dollars, and the purchase price at 149,700 dinars.
