Fuel Transportation Productivity Announced by Oil Products Distribution Company
On March 13, 2025, the Oil Products Distribution Company reported the productivity levels achieved by its transportation division during January. The performance metrics reflect operations conducted via its fleet of 1,192 tankers and trucks, which service various branches across the governorates.
According to a company statement, the total productive output reached approximately 97.5 million cubic meters per kilometer (m3/km). This volume was transported through established routes that ensure effective distribution of fuel to outlets in Baghdad and beyond, facilitated by the company’s transportation authority.
Operational Efficiency and Daily Transfers
Hussein Talib Abboud, the general manager of the company, provided insights into the operational achievements. Milad Rashid, the director of the transportation authority, highlighted that the Transport Authority executed 382 shifts focused on various oil derivatives, including gas. Furthermore, Rashid noted that the daily transfer rate of these products to all branches of the distribution company averages about 982,692 m3 per day.
