Prime Minister Orders New Schools and Health Centers for Al-Tai Area in Kadhimiya

On Saturday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shi’a Sudani announced the initiation of new school construction and healthcare facilities in the Al-Tai district of the Holy Kadhimiya area. This decision is part of a broader effort to address the pressing infrastructure needs in the region.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s media office, the Prime Minister met with a delegation representing the residents of Al-Tai, located north of Kadhimiya city, to discuss the community’s significant needs and priorities. During the meeting, he acknowledged the urgent requirement for essential services that would improve the living conditions of local residents, particularly the need for adequate school facilities to alleviate overcrowding in existing schools.

The Prime Minister has mandated the implementation of projects under the Iraq Fund for Development to construct new educational institutions tailored to serve the region’s population. Additionally, he directed a comprehensive review of the current healthcare services available, calling for the establishment of health centers and an assessment of the required infrastructure to better serve not only the local inhabitants but also the broader community of Kadhimiya and adjacent areas.
