Gold Prices Stabilize in Baghdad, Drop in Erbil This Sunday

Gold prices for both foreign and Iraqi variants have remained stable in the local markets of Baghdad, although a decline has been noted in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, as of today, Sunday.

In the wholesale markets along the River Evidence in Baghdad, the selling price for a single weight of 21-carat gold, including Gulf, Turkish, and European varieties, is recorded at 605,000 dinars, with a purchase price of 601,000 dinars.

Furthermore, the selling price for one weight of 21-carat Iraqi gold stands at 575,000 dinars, while the purchase price is approximately 571,000 dinars.

In the goldsmith shops, the selling prices for 21-carat Gulf gold range from 605,000 to 615,000 dinars. The selling price for Iraqi gold varies from 575,000 to 585,000 dinars.

Conversely, in Erbil, gold prices have exhibited a downward trend. Currently, the price for 24-carat gold is at 700,000 dinars. The prices for lower carats are as follows: 22-carat gold at 642,000 dinars, 21-carat gold at 613,000 dinars, and 18-carat gold at 525,000 dinars.
