With regards to date production, Iraq ranks fourth worldwide, with a significant increase noted in recent years. Specifically, Iraqi production was over 650,000 tons in 2022, rising to around 725,000 tons in 2023, and exceeding 800,000 tons in 2024, accompanied by exports surpassing 700,000 tons to various global markets.
