Dhi Qar Oil Company Implements 90-Day Emergency Plan to Boost Oil Production

Saeed Zughair Shalaja, General Manager of Dhi Qar Oil Company, has launched a 90-day emergency initiative aimed at enhancing oil production within the governorate. This strategic plan includes the development and activation of five new wells, which are essential to bolster production capacity.

During a recent visit to the Nasiriyah oil field, the company emphasized its commitment to intensify field operations in collaboration with the Ministry of Oil. This partnership aims to ensure the timely achievement of set production goals, in alignment with government objectives.

Additionally, the company is leveraging technical support from national oil firms to optimize production processes and resource allocation. Among the significant projects undertaken is the advancement of the gas investment plan, which entails the operationalization of the first phase of the gas processing initiative in the Al-Gharaf field, alongside the completion of the gas collection and processing project in the Nasiriyah field.

Shalaja underscored the company’s dedication to a "production first" strategy, supported by a digital follow-up system. This approach facilitates the production of periodic reports that track the progress of projects in accordance with governmental plans, ultimately aimed at enhancing oil revenues and increasing export capacity.

This proactive move reflects Dhi Qar Oil Company’s commitment to growth and efficiency in the oil sector, positioning it to meet rising demands while maximizing its operational effectiveness.
