Dhi Qar Introduces 90-Day Emergency Plan to Boost Oil Output

The Director General of Dhi Qar Oil Company, Saeed Zughair Shalaja, has announced the initiation of a 90-day emergency plan aimed at enhancing oil production within the governorate. This plan includes the introduction of five new wells to boost production capacity.

During a recent visit to the Nasiriyah oil field, Shalaja highlighted the company’s intensified field efforts in collaboration with the Ministry of Oil, focusing on achieving set objectives within a strict timeline.

He further disclosed that there will be technical support from national oil companies to improve production and increase dedicatory efforts.

Shalaja also mentioned significant projects aimed at utilizing associated gas, including the commencement of the first phase of the gas processing project at the Al-Ghrouf field and the finalization of the gas collection and treatment project in the Nasiriyah field.

He emphasized the company’s “production first” strategy, supported by digital monitoring processes. This allows for periodic reporting to track project progress in line with government plans to enhance oil revenues and increase exports.
