Baghdad’s Job Grades: 5,000 Positions to Be Distributed Soon

Economy News – Baghdad

The Federal Service Council has officially confirmed the implementation of two distinct mechanisms for the distribution of certified grades approved by the Council of Ministers, with plans to allocate these grades to 55 governmental institutions in the near future.

Saad Al-Lami, spokesperson for the council, stated in a televised announcement that the cabinet has sanctioned the appointment of the remaining holders of higher education and first-class certificates. In the forthcoming days, a total of 5,000 job openings will be disseminated as part of the employment plan.

Al-Lami further explained that the distribution of these job grades will occur via two methods: the first method involves a traditional distribution approach, while the second method utilizes an electronic lottery system. This dual approach is designed to enhance transparency and fairness throughout the process.

He emphasized that the job grades will be allocated to 55 ministries and governmental institutions based on their specific workforce needs.

On a related note, the Council of Ministers has also approved the resolution concerning 5,903 job grades for individuals with first and higher education degrees, previously authorized within earlier budget allocations.
