Baghdad and Erbil Form Team to Assess Kurdistan Oil Exports

The negotiating delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government announced on Sunday the establishment of a joint technical team between Baghdad and Erbil to assess the readiness for oil exports from Kurdistan.

A statement from the delegation indicated that following discussions and coordination between the Federal Ministry of Oil and the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kurdistan Region, an agreement was reached to resume oil exports from the region based on available quantities.

The delegation noted the formation of a joint technical team tasked with inspecting the export pipeline and confirming its operational readiness, reinforcing their commitment to adhere to the Federal Public Budget Law.
