US Dollar Surges in Baghdad and Erbil: Latest Exchange Rates

In recent trading activity, the exchange rates of the US dollar have seen an uptick in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region’s capital, Erbil.

According to local market reports, the dollar’s price surged on the struggle and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges in Baghdad, reaching 150,500 Iraqi dinars for every 100 dollars, an increase from 150,250 dinars recorded last Thursday morning.

Additionally, in the local banking markets of Baghdad, the selling price has risen to 151,500 dinars per 100 dollars, while the purchasing price is now 149,500 dinars for the same amount.

Meanwhile, in Erbil, the dollar’s value also reflected an increase with a selling price of 150,250 dinars for 100 dollars, and the purchasing price standing at 150,150 dinars for the same amount.
