Increase in US Dollar Exchange Rates in Iraq
The US dollar exchange rates saw an uptick in the markets of Baghdad, while remaining stable in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, at the close of trading on Tuesday evening.
According to market data, dollar prices rose as trading concluded on the Al-Harithiya and other stock exchanges in Baghdad, reaching 150,400 Iraqi dinars for every 100 dollars. This reflects an increase from the earlier prices of 150,250 dinars for the same amount.
In Baghdad’s local markets, the selling prices also escalated, with the sale rate recorded at 151,500 dinars and the purchase rate at 149,500 dinars per 100 US dollars.
Conversely, in Erbil, the dollar exhibited stability during the same period, where the sale price was documented at 150,150 dinars, with a purchase price of 150,050 dinars per 100 US dollars.
