The exchange rates of the US dollar experienced an uptick this morning, Monday, across key markets in Baghdad and Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
According to reports, the dollar prices in Baghdad rose in both the Al-Harithiya and struggle stock exchanges, recording 148,500 Iraqi dinars for 100 dollars, up from 148,400 dinars per 100 dollars noted yesterday morning.
Additionally, in local banking institutions across Baghdad, the selling prices remained steady, with the sale price set at 149,500 dinars for 100 dollars, while the purchase price was recorded at 147,500 dinars for 100 dollars.
In Erbil, a similar trend was observed, as the dollar’s sale price reached 148,300 dinars per 100 dollars, with the purchase price slightly lower at 148,200 dinars for the same amount.
