US Dollar Exchange Rates Experience Decline in Baghdad and Erbil

In a notable shift within the currency markets, the exchange rates of the US dollar witnessed a decline on Tuesday morning in both Baghdad and Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

According to local financial sources, the price of the dollar experienced a reduction on the Al-Harithiya and Struggle stock exchanges, with rates dropping to 148,200 Iraqi dinars for every 100 dollars. This marks a decrease from the previous day’s rate of 148,500 dinars for the same amount.

Local Banking Market Dynamics

In the local banking sector of Baghdad, the selling price of the dollar fell as well, capped at 149,250 Iraqi dinars for 100 dollars, while the purchase price adjusted to 147,250 dinars for the same amount.

Turning to Erbil, the dollar’s value also diminished, with the sale price recorded at 148,000 dinars per 100 dollars, and the purchase price standing at 147,900 dinars for 100 dollars.
