US Dollar Exchange Rates Rise in Iraq
The US dollar saw an increase in exchange rates this morning, Saturday, across the financial markets in Baghdad, as well as in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
In Baghdad, the Al-Harithiya and Al-Sadriya stock exchanges reported an exchange rate of 148,200 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars, a notable rise from 147,900 dinars per 100 dollars observed last Thursday.
Local banking prices in Baghdad also reflected this upward trend, with the sale price reaching 149,250 dinars per 100 US dollars, while the purchase price was set at 147,250 dinars per 100 dollars.
Similarly, in Erbil, the exchange rate increased, with the sale price hitting 148,100 dinars per 100 US dollars, and the purchase price recorded at 148,000 dinars per 100 dollars.
