US Dollar Drops in Baghdad and Erbil Amid Market Closure

In recent developments, the exchange rates for the US dollar in Baghdad and Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, have experienced a decline, coinciding with the closure of the stock exchanges on Tuesday evening.

According to reports, the dollar value decreased as the Al-Harithiya and Baghdad stock exchanges closed, resulting in an exchange rate of 147,800 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars, down from 148,200 dinars earlier in the day.

In the local exchange markets of Baghdad, the prices were noted as follows: the selling price was 148,750 dinars per 100 US dollars, while the buying price stood at 146,750 dinars.

In Erbil, a similar trend was observed, with the selling price recorded at 147,700 dinars for 100 US dollars and the purchasing price at 147,600 dinars.
