On Thursday morning, the exchange rates for the US dollar experienced a decline in the Baghdad markets as well as in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, coinciding with the week’s conclusion.
According to reports, the dollar prices fell within the struggle and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges, landing at 150,050 Iraqi dinars for every 100 dollars. This marks a decrease from Wednesday morning’s rate of 150,300 dinars for the same amount.
Furthermore, our observations indicated a reduction in selling prices at banking outlets in local markets across Baghdad, with the selling rate now at 151,000 Iraqi dinars for 100 dollars, while the purchase price stands at 149,000 dinars for the same amount.
In Erbil, the dollar exchange rates similarly saw a downturn, with the selling price recorded at 150,000 dinars for 100 dollars, and the purchase price slightly higher at 149,900 dinars for the same amount.
