US Dollar Declines in Baghdad and Erbil Markets This Evening

The US dollar exchange rates experienced a decline in both Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, and Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, following the closure of stock exchanges on Sunday evening.

Reports indicate that the dollar’s value decreased upon the conclusion of trading at the Al-Harithiya and other stock exchanges in Baghdad, with the exchange rate registering at 149,250 Iraqi dinars for every 100 US dollars. This represents a drop from the morning’s rate of 149,900 dinars.

In Baghdad’s local banking sector, the selling prices also reflected this downward trend, with the sale price set at 150,000 dinars for every 100 dollars, while the purchase price stood at 148,000 dinars.

In Erbil, the dollar exchange rates mirrored those in Baghdad, closing at a selling price of 149,150 dinars per 100 dollars and a purchase price of 149,050 dinars.
