Turkish Exports to Iraq Hit $13 Billion in 2024, Showcasing Steady Growth

The Turkish Statistical Authority has reported that Turkish exports to Iraq exceeded $13 billion for the year 2024.

According to the authority, the total value of exports to Iraq in 2024 reached $13 billion, 34 million, and 364 thousand, marking a 4.38% increase from the previous year, which recorded $12 billion, 759 million, and 358 thousand. However, this figure represents a decline of 5.49% compared to 2022, when exports to Iraq amounted to $13 billion, 750 million, and 276 thousand.

The authority further noted that Iraq ranks fourth globally among the destinations for Turkish exports, with its share comprising 5% of Turkey’s total exports worldwide.

In terms of rankings, Germany leads as the top destination for Turkish exports, valued at $20 billion and 434 million. Following Germany are the United States with $15 billion and 348 million, and the United Kingdom with $15 billion and 289 million in exports.
