Shocking Salary Discrepancies: Iraqi Football Association Executives Reportedly Earn Up to 4 Million Dinars Monthly!

Alaa Abdel-Qader, a former international referee, has brought to light a contentious issue concerning the remuneration of the Executive Office members of the Iraqi Football Association. He disclosed that these members are currently receiving monthly salaries of up to 4 million Iraqi dinars, a figure akin to that of a general manager.

Abdel-Qader noted that the current law does not authorize salary payments for the Executive Office members; remuneration is officially restricted to the secretary and heads of committees when acting outside the General Assembly. He highlighted that this shift in salary structure occurred during a prior period when the monthly compensation was only 1 million dinars, which has now escalated to 4 million dinars, according to credible sources.
