Recent analysis by Statista indicates that the per capita share of the gross domestic product (GDP) in Iraq is projected to reach $6,000 annually by the year 2025.

The analysis suggests a continuous upward trend in individual GDP share, with an anticipated increase of $971, or approximately 13.93%, occurring between 2025 and 2029.

The report indicates that the per capita GDP will increase for the sixth consecutive year, reaching $6,971 by 2029.

Notably, the highest individual share of GDP in Iraq over the past decade occurred in 2022, amounting to $6,818, while the lowest was recorded in 2014 at $4,656.

This metric reflects the gross domestic product at current prices, which is calculated by converting the national currency into U.S. dollars at current exchange rates and dividing by the total population.
