Ministry of Electricity Resolves Technical Issues at Major Station While Enhancing National Energy System Stability

Ahmed Moussa, spokesperson for the Ministry of Electricity, announced that the ministry has successfully resolved a technical issue at one of the major electrical stations. He emphasized that the national electrical system has fully resumed operations.

Moussa further elaborated that the ministry is actively engaged in developing the national electrical grid and enhancing its overall stability. He noted that technical teams are diligently working to rectify anomalies within the energy transport lines, which plays a crucial role in improving distribution efficiency and minimizing outages.

Regarding fuel supply for power generation, the spokesperson acknowledged ongoing concerns about potential gas shortages, indicating that the current levels of national gas production are insufficient to meet the electrical system’s demands completely. Consequently, planned power outages are anticipated during the summer season, as the Ministry strives to mitigate the impact of this issue on residents.

The Ministry reiterated its commitment to providing sustainable solutions to accommodate the growing demand for electric energy. It underscored the necessity of promoting energy conservation and collaborating with relevant authorities to ensure the reliability of the electrical system.
