Federal Government Allocates Funds for Salaries in the Kurdistan Region

The Kurdistan Regional Government has announced that the federal government has transferred over 950 billion dinars to support salary payments for the previous month. This move aims to bolster the financial stability of the region amidst ongoing fiscal discussions.

A spokesperson for the regional government, Bishua Huramani, disclosed that the Federal Ministry of Finance has deposited a total of 958,012,332,759 dinars to the account of the Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region. This significant transfer underscores the federal government’s commitment to ensuring timely salary disbursements for employees within the region.

Huramani emphasized that the Kurdistan Regional Government is poised to commence the distribution of salaries for January with urgency, adhering to established payment mechanisms authorized by the Ministry of Finance.
