The Kirkuk Health Department has announced that the construction of the new Oncology Hospital is nearing completion, with a reported completion rate of 98%.
In a recent update, the Kirkuk Health Department confirmed that the Specialized Cancer Hospital project has reached a completion status of 98%, with an investment amounting to 10 billion and 700 million dinars. This facility is designed to support 100 beds and will be outfitted with state-of-the-art medical equipment.
These pivotal projects are expected to significantly enhance the healthcare landscape in the governorate, particularly with the establishment of specialized centers that represent a critical advancement in health service delivery for residents in Kirkuk.
Additionally, another initiative known as the “linear urgent project” is currently under development adjacent to the new Oncology Hospital, with its completion rate at 60%. This project forms part of the investment developments coordinated by the Ministry of Health and will incorporate two advanced medical devices aimed at diagnosing complex tumors.
It was also noted that both the new Oncology Hospital and the linear urgent project have been executed within the established timelines, without any delays.
