The Central Bureau of Statistics reported on Monday that the Israeli economy experienced a slowdown in growth for the year 2024, with a notable adjustment indicating a decline in economic activity during the fourth quarter.

The ongoing conflict in Gaza significantly impacted economic performance, with growth recorded at 0.9% for the last year, slightly below the preliminary estimate of 1%.

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics, the GDP per capita decreased by 0.4% in 2024.

For the fourth quarter, GDP experienced an annual increase of 2%, which is a downward adjustment from the earlier estimate of 2.5%.

Additionally, the GDP growth for the third quarter was revised to an annual rate of 5%, down from the initial reporting of 5.3%.
