The Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadel, held a meeting today with the acting American ambassador to Iraq, Daniel Robinstein, to discuss advancements in Iraq’s electrical system.
A statement from the Minister’s office highlighted that during their discussion, Minister Fadel presented the Ministry’s strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the electrical infrastructure and addressing the energy challenges facing Iraq. Key projects that the Ministry plans to undertake in the near future were also outlined.
The dialogue further elaborated on available investment prospects within the Iraqi energy sector, emphasizing the role of American companies in contributing to infrastructure development projects related to electricity. The conversation also focused on the adoption of modern technologies in the production, transmission, and distribution of electrical energy.
