Iraqi Dinar Gains Slightly: Dollar Rates Drop in Baghdad & Erbil

The exchange rate of the US dollar saw a downward trend this morning, Wednesday, in the currency markets of Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, as well as in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

According to reports from local sources, the dollar’s price in the Al-Harithiya and Al-Nasr stock exchanges in Baghdad increased slightly, reaching 150,300 Iraqi dinars for every $100. This reflects a decrease compared to Tuesday’s closing rate of 150,350 dinars.

It was observed that the selling prices in banking outlets within the local markets of Baghdad decreased, with the current selling price at 151,250 dinars per $100, while the purchase price stands at 149,250 dinars.

In Erbil, the dollar’s value also saw a decline, reaching a selling price of 150,100 dinars for each $100, with the purchase price slightly lower at 150,000 dinars.
