On Tuesday, the Iraqi Private Banks Association announced the launch of the mobile application “Our Bank and Smart Robot,” aimed at enhancing awareness and accessibility of financial services among citizens.
According to the association, this application represents a significant step forward, intended to foster broad engagement with financial services for all Iraqis. The “Our Bank” app serves as a vital tool for facilitating access to essential banking services and includes a financial consultant feature that provides users with relevant information on financial management and personal finance.
The application is expected to play a crucial role in spreading knowledge of banking services across various governorates and reaching diverse populations without discrimination. The initiative aims to elevate financial literacy and protect citizens by enhancing their understanding of financial institutions and practices.
The launch of this application marks the beginning of an ongoing journey focused on increasing user engagement and collaboration among financial, banking, and media institutions, all of which will serve to further promote its use.
Furthermore, Tariq expressed gratitude to the Central Bank for facilitating banks’ access to organized data, as well as the support from the European Union and the German Agency GIZ, which contributed to the development of the application. He also acknowledged the banks that provided essential data to support the project.
