Government Committee Formed to Address Diwaniyah Housing Issues

Economy News – Baghdad

Nasser Al-Awadi, advisor to the Prime Minister, announced on Sunday the establishment of a government committee to evaluate service and residential projects in the Diwaniyah Governorate, addressing the challenges facing investment housing complexes.

In a statement, Al-Awadi emphasized that “the Prime Minister has directed a detailed investigation into the issues surrounding the extensive residential complexes. This decision follows complaints from over 180 families in one of Diwaniyah’s investment housing projects who have experienced significant hardships.” The Prime Minister’s instructions resulted in the formation of a committee aimed at identifying these challenges and implementing timely solutions.
Mona Kazem, a beneficiary of these investment complexes, voiced her concerns stating, “After exhausting all avenues and receiving no assistance, we appealed directly to the Prime Minister for a prompt resolution to expedite project completion and transfer.”
