Economy Update – Baghdad
Current gold prices, both foreign and Iraqi, in the local markets of Baghdad, have shown an upward trend as of Thursday, February 13, 2025.
This morning, the wholesale markets along the River Evidence reported a selling price for one weight of 21-carat Gulf, Turkish, and European gold at 616 thousand dinars, with a corresponding buying price of 612 thousand dinars.
In contrast, the selling price for one weight of 21-carat Iraqi gold has been noted at 586 thousand dinars, while the purchasing price stands at 582 thousand dinars.
Furthermore, in local goldsmith stores, the selling price for 21-carat Gulf gold fluctuates between 615 thousand dinars and 625 thousand dinars. For Iraqi gold, the selling price ranges from 505 thousand to 515 thousand dinars.
