In Baghdad’s wholesale markets, particularly at the River Evidence, the price for 21-carat Gulf, Turkish, and European gold was recorded at 605,000 dinars for sale, while the purchase price stood at 601,000 dinars.
Conversely, the selling price for one weight of 21-carat Iraqi gold was noted at 575,000 dinars, with the purchase price at 571,000 dinars.
In goldsmiths’ stores, the selling price of 21-carat Gulf gold ranged between 605,000 and 615,000 dinars, whereas the price for Iraqi gold was between 575,000 and 585,000 dinars.
In Erbil, a downward trend in gold prices was observed, with 24-carat gold priced at 685,000 dinars, 22-carat at 628,000 dinars, 21-carat at 600,000 dinars, and 18-carat at 515,000 dinars.
