Current Gold Prices in Iraq’s Markets

On Thursday, gold prices remained stable in local markets in Baghdad and Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

In the wholesale markets along Baghdad’s River Evangelist, the pricing for one weight of 21-carat gold—comprising Gulf, Turkish, and European varieties—was reported at 605,000 dinars for sales, with a purchasing price of 601,000 dinars.

In contrast, the selling price for one weight of 21-carat Iraqi gold stood at 575,000 dinars, with the purchasing rate slightly lower at 571,000 dinars.

Retail Pricing in Goldsmith Stores

Within goldsmith shops, the sales prices for 21-carat Gulf gold were noted at approximately 605,000 to 615,000 dinars. For Iraqi gold, retail prices oscillated between 575,000 and 585,000 dinars.

Price Stability in Erbil
