Foundation Stone Laid for Maysan’s New Housing Project

Abdul Razzaq Al-Maliki, the head of the service effort team, announced the initiation of a housing project in Maysan today, Saturday.

Al-Maliki stated, “We have laid the foundation stone for the industrial housing area, addressing years of service deprivation. The Prime Minister’s guidance necessitated the enhancement of services as part of the efforts put forth by the service and engineering team.”

He further elaborated that “the project encompasses the extension of water and sewage networks, as well as road construction.” Al-Maliki expressed optimism regarding the ongoing initiatives of the service effort team in Maysan Governorate, extending to additional projects outlined in the 2025 development plan across various sectors, including municipalities, water supply, sewage systems, and improvements to education and health sectors.”

Al-Maliki reported that “to date, over 80 projects have been completed, with plans to target an additional 20.” He emphasized that “a comprehensive strategy is underway to assess remaining areas in Maysan Governorate to incorporate them into the team’s efforts planned for 2025.”
