Elon Musk, CEO of the “X” platform, reported a significant cyber attack targeting the platform, suggesting that this attack involved considerable resources.
Musk stated, “We are experiencing a major cyber attack against X. While we face daily attacks, this particular incident has been executed with substantial resources, potentially indicating a large coordinated group and/or a nation-state behind it. We are currently tracing the source.”
Today, the platform experienced widespread disruptions, with over 40,000 users reporting issues accessing their accounts, as noted by a specialized digital fault tracking service.
As of now, X has not released an official statement detailing the cyber incident or the potential perpetrators involved. Efforts are underway to fully restore service for its users.
