On Wednesday morning, the exchange rates for the US dollar experienced a decrease in both Baghdad and Erbil, capital of the Kurdistan Region.

According to market reports, the dollar rate on the Al-Harithiya and Al-Taghier stock exchanges settled at 150,200 Iraqi dinars per $100. This marks a drop from the previous day’s rate of 150,300 dinars for the same amount.

In local banking establishments within Baghdad, the selling price reflected a similar decline, reaching 151,000 dinars per $100, while the purchasing price was noted at 149,000 dinars for $100.

In Erbil, the dollar also saw a reduction in value, with the selling price recorded at 150,100 dinars per $100, and the purchasing price noted at 150,000 dinars for the same amount.
