The Brazilian Association for Machinery and Equipment Industry has reported that four Arab nations, including Iraq, account for 84% of Brazil’s exports to the Arab world.
In 2024, the Brazilian machinery and equipment sector achieved its second-highest export performance, totaling $84 billion.
The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Iraq together represented an impressive 83.9% of Brazil’s total exports to Arab countries, with oil machinery leading the way, comprising 65.7% of the exported products.
Furthermore, the collective purchasing power of Arab nations has surged, as their imports from Brazilian machinery increased to $722 million—a substantial rise of 63.8% compared to 2023.
