The prices of Basra heavy and medium crude declined on Thursday, despite stability in global oil prices.
The price of Basra heavy crude fell by 26 cents, or 0.34%, settling at $75.34 per barrel. Additionally, the average price for crude oil also decreased by 26 cents, marking a decline of 0.33%, reaching $78.59 per barrel.
In the backdrop of these changes, global oil prices remained steady as markets awaited further details regarding U.S. customs duties proposed by President Trump, alongside a rise in U.S. oil inventories reported last week.
As of today, Brent crude is priced at $76.51 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude is valued at $72.61 per barrel.
