Baghdad’s Industry Ministry Sees 37% Revenue Surge in 2024

The Ministry of Industry and Minerals has reported a significant increase in revenue for the previous year.

In a statement, the ministry indicated that “the substantial rise in revenue for 2024 stems from the successful implementation of strategic plans aimed at boosting performance and supporting key initiatives.”

The report highlighted that “revenue growth in 2024 is remarkable, showing a 37% increase compared to the previous three years: 2023, 2022, and 2021.”

Furthermore, the ministry emphasized that “this revenue growth is a testament to the effectiveness of the strategies employed and the dedicated efforts made to enhance performance, particularly under the leadership of Minister Khaleda Batjam. His decisive directives have been instrumental in revitalizing production and marketing activities, expanding various contracts, and upgrading the quality of services provided by the ministry’s departments and associated companies.”

The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening financial capabilities, supporting and operating national projects and laboratories, and continuing to advance its financial performance while aiming to further increase revenues in the upcoming years.
