On Monday, Minister of Electricity Ziad Ali Fadel met with a delegation from the Croatian company “Conjler,” a firm specializing in the manufacture of transformers and secondary electrical stations, to discuss updating Iraq’s energy networks.
The Ministry’s statement highlighted that the meeting focused on the company’s capabilities in manufacturing and supplying power transformers and secondary distribution stations, as well as its expertise in energy transmission lines and electrical insulators.
The discussions also revolved around available opportunities to bolster cooperation aimed at modernizing and developing Iraq’s electricity infrastructure.
The Minister underscored the Ministry’s commitment to leveraging advanced international experiences in the electrical equipment domain, emphasizing the critical need to enhance the systems for transporting and distributing electrical energy. This initiative aims to meet citizens’ needs and keep pace with the country’s urban development.
In response, the Croatian delegation showcased their company’s global experience and technical capabilities in manufacturing transformers and electrical equipment, expressing a strong willingness to contribute to the advancement of Iraq’s electricity sector.
