The Council of Ministers convened on Tuesday and approved the formation of the National Mobile Company.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office, the cabinet’s decision to create the National Mobile Company involves collaboration among the Ministry of Communications, the National Retirement Authority, and the Iraqi Trade Bank. This initiative is set to operate under a national license utilizing fifth-generation technology, with the support of Vodafone International Telecom.
