On Monday, the Chairman of the Federal Integrity Authority and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee convened to review the initiatives of the Ministry of Communications regarding the issue of Internet smuggling.
The Integrity Commission indicated in a recent statement that Muhammad Ali Al-Lami, the head of the Federal Integrity Commission, alongside Ziyad Al-Janabi, Chairman of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, engaged in discussions centered on the Ministry of Communications’ handling of Internet smuggling, as well as the contract related to transit capacities (IQ) for Internet services.
The discussion highlighted the critical importance of safeguarding public funds, closely monitoring contracts, and ensuring their integrity to prevent conditions that could lead to financial losses for the government.
