On Sunday, Justice Minister Khaled Shawani announced the waiver of judicial service fees for the families of martyrs, commemorating their sacrifices on the anniversary of the victims of the inventory system.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Justice, Minister Shawani specifically directed that families of first-class martyrs—including those from the regime, the armed forces, the Popular Mobilization Forces, the Peshmerga, and victims of terrorism—be excluded from fees related to all judicial services provided by the judiciary.
In his remarks, the minister reinforced that “this decision is made in recognition of their sacrifices and aims to alleviate the financial burden on the families,” underlining the importance of facilitating its implementation.
This directive aligns with the government’s ongoing initiatives to support martyr families and foster social justice.
