On Monday morning, the exchange rates of the US dollar experienced a slight increase against the Iraqi dinar in both Baghdad and Erbil, the capital city of the Kurdistan Region.

The latest figures indicate that in Baghdad’s Al-Harithiya and Al-Sirada stock exchanges, the price of the dollar surged to 150,350 dinars for every 100 dollars, up from the previous day’s rate of 150,300 dinars.

In the local banking sector within Baghdad, selling prices remained consistent with recent trends. The sale price was recorded at 151,500 dinars per 100 dollars, while the purchase price stood at 149,500 dinars.

Meanwhile, in Erbil, the dollar also showed an uptick, with the sale price listed at 150,300 dinars for every 100 dollars. The corresponding purchase price in Erbil was 150,200 dinars for the same amount.
