Gold Prices Surge in Baghdad: Iraqi and Foreign Gold Reaches New Highs

Gold prices for both Iraqi and foreign varieties saw an increase this Wednesday morning in Baghdad.

In the Al-Nahr Street wholesale markets, the price for one weight of 21-carat Gulf, Turkish, and European gold has reached approximately 585,000 dinars for sale, while the buying price stands at 581,000 dinars. Meanwhile, the selling price for one weight of 21-carat Iraqi gold has been recorded at 555,000 dinars, with a purchase price of 551,000 dinars.

In retail settings, specifically goldsmiths’ shops, the selling price of one weight of 21-carat Gulf gold varies between 585,000 and 595,000 dinars. Conversely, the price for one weight of Iraqi gold ranges from 555,000 to 565,000 dinars.
